Inolimomab is a murine monoclonal antibody targeting CD-25, also known as the alpha subunit of the interleukin-2 receptor. 3 The binding of this antibody to CD-25 blocks the signaling of interleukin-2, preventing clonal expansion of T-cells. The resulting immunosuppressive effect appears to provide a similar benefit in patients with steroid-resistant graft vs host disease to anti-thymocyte globulin.2
